While the Reese hitch you referenced does not fit the factory rail kit of your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 I have a really great (and superior) option with the B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3770. This USA made hitch is considered as the nicest hitch available as it's very reliable, easy to use, and can come apart in several pieces which makes installing/removing it a bit easier. view full answer...
For your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 Curt has a version of their 25k fifth wheel hitches that fit directly to your factory rail kit but the # C16265 does not so it would not be what I would recommend. Instead the best option is the A25 Hitch for GM Rail kits part # C16066 which does fit directly and has a better jaw design that will hold the king pin tighter (quieter ride when towing) view full answer...
We see this problem a lot because trucks keep getting taller and taller, as you mentioned. The issue is that 5th wheel trailers are nose high when trying to become level and there is one solution we recommend, which is to add an over/under kit.
What an over/under kit does is move your trailer's leaf springs to the top of your axle and lifts your trailer approximately the same amount as your axle's diameter plus the height of the leaf spring pack (please keep in mind this conversion kit... view full answer...
There was a big enough change between the 2010 and 2011 Chevy Silverados that Curt had to release a new fifth wheel rail kit fit. So for your 2014 Chevy Silverado 3500 you would want the Curt kit part # C16411-204 which is a confirmed fit. I attached an install video for this custom rail kit for you to check out as well.
Your E16 hitch part # C16115 would work with this rail kit though so you would be able to reuse it. view full answer...
The air bags I recommend for a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 are the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2596. I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs over the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57338 because the air bags are more durable since they use a crimp rolled design instead of a band clamp (see photo) and there are typically fewer components therefore easier to install.
The air compressor kit I recommend for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air... view full answer...
The 25k pound capacity 5th wheel hitch that I recommend for your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with 8' bed and factory prep is the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3715.
This hitch is sourced and made in the USA and will drop into your factory prep package without the need for an adapter. It also features 1" thick dual jaws that provide 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact which produces less rattle and more security than slide-bar jaws. It has 3... view full answer...
Yes there is. The Furrion 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter w/ Power Switch # FR87PR that you referenced is the adapter you are looking for. This allows the Vision S camera setups like the part # FOS05TASF to work on the newer GM trucks like your 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500. view full answer...
The Demco Hijacker Autoslide hitch part # DM8550034 is a great hitch that can easily be used in the bed of your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 without the factory rail kit. Demco recommends their rail kit part # DM8552011-71 which is a confirmed fit for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500. This is a custom fit kit which means it will minimize drilling and install time when compared to a universal kit. view full answer...
I recommend having the vent opening of the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent # HMAV2-AVT2 either face the rear of the trailer so that it sucks air out as you are traveling or have it face down as either of these two positions will prevent water from entering into the trailer. view full answer...
The best gooseneck trailer hitch for your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 is by far the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1016 because it has a square base for its hitch ball which ensures optimal strength and durability.
What makes the B&W the best option, and separates it from the likes of the Curt Double Lock # C607-604 which also fits your '19 Silverado 3500, is that the hitch ball of the B&W gooseneck hitch has a square shank that fits directly in the base, and is... view full answer...
The Reese Titan slider hitch that you can can install in the short bed of your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 with the factory GM fifth wheel rail kit. All you'd need is the Demco GM fifth wheel rail kit adapter part # DM6194 and you'd be set. view full answer...
The spacings of the pucks between the two generations of Chevy trucks is different which is why the hitch fits between the two are different. Since I believe you have a 2017 Chevy Silverado 3500 with the OEM rail kit the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3705 that you referenced would fit it directly and would work great. view full answer...
The head of the B and W Companion Hitch part # BWRVK3700 is adjustable like most B and W Companion hitches but since the feet of the hitch stay in the same spot and do not move forward and back the distribution of the pin weight of the fifth wheel is not affected.
Basically you will want to pick the hitch setting that works the best for your towing setup and would not need to worry about it negatively affecting the weight distribution of the trailer pin weight. view full answer...
The tallest gooseneck hitch ball available for a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with OEM Prep Package is the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit part # BWGNXA2061 which measures 5-3/4" tall from the base or shoulder to the top of the ball. If you measure this same difference on your existing hitch ball you'll be able to note the change. That said, this is your tallest option regardless. view full answer...
Yes, this will include everything needed to install. Please see the product review video linked below. The Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # C97FR, is for Chevy/GMC trucks with the OEM puck system. This is the heavy duty dual jaw model for 25,000 lbs. with a vertical load limit is 6,250 lbs. view full answer...
We always recommend a sliding hitch with a 6', 6-1/2', or 6-3/4' bed in order to have enough clearance to prevent the nose of the trailer from coming into contact with the cab of the truck. With Companion fifth wheel hitches you can always replace the base later with a fixed one if you get a longer bed to mitigate the cost. It's a much cheaper cost to pay for the slider base than repairing the truck and trailer if they come into contact so I definitely recommend getting the B&W Companion... view full answer...
For Reese 5th wheel trailer hitch # RP30047 you will need a 10 inch diameter lube plate # RP83002. I have included a link to a video review of this lube plate for you. view full answer...
To better support the weight of your Arctic Fox 865 Camper I highly recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK25D. These heavy-duty Aeon hollow rubber springs will greatly increase stability on the road with that camper attached. Since they basically act as shock absorbers they (along with the other suspension components you have already added) will go a long way towards extending the life of the truck's factory suspension.
The springs themselves have an 8,600 pound... view full answer...
If a trailer light we offer has been DOT approved we try to list it in the product description. For a similar LED light that is DOT approved you would want the part # STL69RRXB.

I suggest the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package, # BWRVK3715. I like the 1" thick jaws on the Companion. The cam-action latching handle helps prevent binding, is simple to release, even on unlevel terrain. The B&W is noted as having a superior powder coating and is made in USA with materials sourced from the USA too. This hitch has multiple height settings but even on its highest setting it will still set below the top of the bed rails. So something... view full answer...
